We don't care where you find your dream land, but Vietnam
will never be forgotten in our hearts.
A few things about our country: Located in Southeast Asia,
Vietnam is a well known little country in the world. China is to
the North, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia are to the West. The East is
the Pacific Ocean separating Vietnam by a shoreline running
North to South.
Fighting between North and South for over 30 years, finally
the war ended in April 1975, and the Communist took over the entire
country.
By rejecting the iron power of Communism, and total control
over the people, we decided to flee Vietnam a few years later. Boat
people were born.
